Q: Why does the wireless camera have a power adapter?
A: “Wireless” means you can connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network. The camera comes with a power cord that needs to be plugged in before use.
Q: How to turn on the auto-tracking feature?
A: Open the camera live view page in the phone APP, scroll to page 3, tap the “Smart Tracking” icon to turn on the automatic tracking function.
Q: How to save motion events to SD card?
A: Insert the card when it is off, turn on the camera and go to the camera settings page–>Manage alarms and notifications–>find Alarm Actions, turn on “Record alarm to SD card”.
Q: Why can’t I get notifications on my phone?
Answer: Go back to the camera settings and check if the alarm button is on.
Q: What should I do if I can’t connect the camera and mobile phone?
Answer: 1. Make sure the camera and mobile phone are in the same router; 2. Check if the router has DHCP function enabled and 2.4G WIFI is connected (not support 5G); 3. Make sure the WIFI signal is strong enough at the camera location, higher than 3 cells is much better. 4. If there is no problem listed above but still not working. Use the pin to press and hold the Reset button for 5s to reset the camera before connecting the camera. After successful reset, you will hear “Reset Successful” and wait for 5-8s when you hear “Camera startup up” and then try to connect WIFI again.
Q: Does the device list appear if the camera is offline?
Answer: 1. Check if the wireless password has been changed and the power supply is working properly. 2. Check that your home broadband network is still working. 3. Restore factory settings and repeat again (“Settings”-“More”-“Restore factory settings”).
